We are committed to transparency and do everything possible to ensure your data is well protected. By using Mira Astro, you agree to the terms of this Policy. This Privacy Policy applies from August 27, 2026.

2. Where This Privacy Policy Applies
This Privacy Policy applies to the Mira Astro website, apps, and services. We provide links to this Policy wherever it applies to ensure transparency. If a specific Mira service has its own privacy policy, that policy will apply instead.
3. Information We Collect
To provide, operate, and improve the Service and any of its features, we collect certain data. This includes information you provide directly, data received from third parties, and technical data collected automatically when you use the Service.
Information You Provide
- Account Creation: To register and use Mira Astro, we require your email address and the date, time, and place of birth used to calculate your natal chart.
- Additional Profiles: The Service lets you create profiles for other individuals, including adults and minors, by providing information such as date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and current city. Additional Profiles may be used in connection with any feature of the Service, including, without limitation, charts, transits, group features, AI interpretations, and astrocartography. See "Data About Other Individuals" below.
- AI Chat Interactions: We process the questions you ask the AI assistant, the responses you receive, and other information associated with the interaction, including relevant profile and astrological context, to provide and improve the Service and its AI features.
- Saved Content and Feedback: If you use any feature of the Service that allows you to create, save, or submit notes, tags, feedback, or other content, we may store that information and associate it with your account and relevant activity within the Service.
- Payment for Services: If you subscribe or make purchases in Mira Astro, payment information is processed by our payment providers, but we may store details about your subscription, transactions, and payment status.
- Customer Support Inquiries: If you contact our support team, we may record and analyze the content of your request to resolve issues and improve service quality.
- Surveys and Research: To improve the Service, we may collect data if you participate in surveys or provide feedback about Mira Astro.
Information Received from Third Parties
- Social Media and Third-Party Login: If you log into Mira Astro via Google or other platforms, we may obtain limited access to your profile data, such as your name and associated email address.
- Payment Providers: When you complete transactions, we may receive payment confirmation and other transaction-related details.
- Analytics Partners: We may receive data from analytics providers to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
Information Collected Automatically
- Activity Data: Login times, queries and interactions with the Service, features used, session frequency and duration, and referral pages.
- Device Information: Hardware and software details such as IP address, device ID and type, app settings, device characteristics, app crash information, and advertising identifiers.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Used for authentication, service improvement, interaction analysis, and content personalization.
Additional Data Collected with Your Consent
- Precise Location Data: If you grant access to geolocation, we may use it to provide location-based features, including, without limitation, astrocartography.
Third-Party AI Processing
To provide the Service and any of its features, we may send relevant data that you provide to us or that is generated or processed in connection with your use of the Service to third-party AI providers and other service providers. These providers process the data under their then-current terms and policies.
Data About Other Individuals
Wherever the Service lets you enter another person's information — including additional profiles, group/shared features, and astrocartography involving more than one person — that data is provided by you, not by the individual themselves. That data is used within your account in connection with providing the features of the Service. By submitting another person's information anywhere in the Service, you represent that you have their consent, or otherwise have the right, to do so.
4. How We Use Information
We use your information to provide, operate, and improve the Service and any of its features. This includes, without limitation, the purposes described below.
Managing Your Account and Providing Our Services
- Creating and managing your account and any additional profiles for other individuals
- Calculating natal charts, transits, and astrocartography data
- Powering AI features using information associated with your use of the Service
- Providing technical support and responding to your requests
- Communicating with you about the Service (notifications, updates, news)
- Processing subscriptions, promotions, and transactions
Developing and Improving the Service
- Conducting surveys and market research
- Analyzing user experience to improve interface and usability
- Improving the accuracy of chart and transit calculations
- Developing new features based on user preferences
- Reviewing customer support interactions to enhance service quality
Preventing Violations, Fraud, and Unauthorized Activities
- Detecting, investigating, and responding to violations of our Terms of Use
- Analyzing usage patterns to protect the Service and its users

- Consent: Where required, we may ask for your consent to collect certain information, such as precise location data, or to process another individual's birth data through any feature that lets you add other people. You may withdraw your consent by contacting customer support at auth@mymira.ai, specifying the data you wish to revoke.
5. How We Share Information
Mira Astro does not display your profile or personal data to other users. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Data About Other Individuals You Add
Birth data you enter for another individual — whether through an additional profile, a group/shared feature, or astrocartography involving more than one person — is used only within your own account to generate calculations and interpretations. It is not shared with that individual or with any other user of the Service.
Sharing Data with Our Partners and Service Providers
We collaborate with third-party services that help us operate the platform, including: data hosting and storage, the third-party AI providers described above, analytics and performance evaluation, customer support, payment processing, and security enforcement.
Data Transfer in Corporate Transactions
If Mira undergoes a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or other business transformation, your information may be transferred as part of that process.
Data Disclosure to Government Authorities and Legal Compliance
We may disclose your information when necessary to comply with legal requirements, assist in crime prevention or investigation, and protect the safety of users.
Protection of Rights
We may share your data when necessary to protect our rights or the rights of users, enforce our agreements, and investigate or prevent fraud or unlawful activity.
With Your Consent
We may request your consent to share data with third parties for specific purposes, and in such cases, we will clearly explain why it is necessary.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Update Data: The Service provides tools and account settings that allow you to access, correct, or delete the data you have provided.
- Device Permissions: Operating systems may request access to specific device data, such as location and push notifications. Disabling certain permissions may limit the functionality of the Service.
- Uninstalling the App or Leaving the Website: This does not close your account. To permanently delete your account and associated data, use the account deletion function within the Service.
- Account Closure: You can delete your account via the settings in the Service.
Your Data Rights
- Right to Access: You may request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Right to Deletion: You may request the deletion of your personal data.
- Right to Correction: You can modify most of the data you provided through account settings.
- Right to Restrict Processing: In some cases, you may object to or request restrictions on the processing of your data.
7. How Long We Retain Your Information
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by applicable law. If you close your account, we delete your personal information according to the following retention policy:
- Safety Retention Window: One year following account closure, retained in case it is needed for investigations related to unlawful conduct.
- Compliance with Legal Obligations: Transaction data is kept for 10 years for tax and accounting compliance; records of consent are retained for five years.
- Legitimate Business Interests: Customer support records are stored for five years.
After the expiration of these retention periods, we securely delete or anonymize personal data.
8. Account Users Under 18
Mira Astro accounts are intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older. Individuals under 18 may not create or use an account. An adult account holder may submit information about a minor only if the account holder has all permissions, consents, or other legal authority required to do so. Mira does not independently verify the existence of any such permissions, consents, or legal authority.
9. Privacy Policy Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If we make material changes that affect your rights or how we process your data, we will notify you in advance. Continued use of the Service after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Privacy Policy Addendum for California Consumers
This California section supplements the Mira Astro Privacy Policy and applies solely to California consumers, in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Categories of Collected Personal Data
- Identifiers: Name, email address, unique user ID, IP address, etc.
- Birth/Astrological Data: Date, time, and place of birth for your account and any additional profiles you create for other individuals.
- Commercial Information: Purchase and subscription history.
- Internet/Network Activity: Interactions with our Service.
- Geolocation Data: If permission is granted.
- AI Chat Content: Questions and conversations with the AI assistant.
- Inferred Data: Created based on collected information to personalize your experience.
Sources of Collection
- Directly from users (registering an account, using Mira Astro, making purchases, etc.)
- From social media used for login
- From analytics services to optimize platform performance
Data Sharing
- With AI providers: Relevant data described in this Privacy Policy may be shared with third-party AI providers to provide the Service and any of its features.
- With service providers: Including payment systems, cloud storage, and analytics services.
- For security and legal compliance: Provided to law enforcement or regulatory authorities as required by law.
California Consumer Privacy Rights
Opt-Out of Sale of Data: Mira Astro does not "sell" personal data as defined in the CCPA.
Right to Access, Correction, and Deletion: California consumers can request details about, corrections to, or deletion of their collected data by submitting a request to auth@mymira.ai.
Non-Discrimination: Users exercising their privacy rights will not be discriminated against or restricted in their access to the Service.
Health Data Privacy Policy Addendum
This Health Data Protection Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and is intended only for residents of Washington and Nevada.
We do not believe we collect "consumer health data" and do not use collected data to identify or infer your past, present, or future physical or mental health status.
However, since "consumer health data" is defined broadly in some jurisdictions, information we collect may fall under this definition according to the laws of those jurisdictions.
